Texas Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (TAPIA)
The Texas Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (TAPIA) was founded in 2009, a time when the industry was growing rapidly. The Texas Association of Public Insurance Adjuster’s (About TAPIA) primary goals are to:
- Promote professionalism within the public adjusting industry and uphold a strict code of ethics.
- Provide continuing education for public adjusters.
- Protect the rights of Texas’ insurance consumers.
- Protect the interests of the public adjusting profession and the rights of individual public adjusters.
TAPIA’s membership reflects the diversity of public adjusters and companies throughout the state. We have seasoned veterans with 40 or more years in the business alongside newcomers who are just starting out. Participating in TAPIA results in a continuous exchange of information, experience, and ideas.
This not only helps PAs as professionals. Insured home and business policyholders benefit, too. They rely on our members to have sharp skills and up-to-date knowledge in order to prove and negotiate a fair and proper settlement of their property insurance claims.
